As the parent or legal guardian of a swimmer at Vortex Swimming Club, please read and agree to the following before we register your child. This works together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
What you are agreeing to
Required
Membership & coaching data
I consent to the Club storing my child's name, date of birth, gender, squad and coaching data (attendance, results, training plans and test data) in the Vortex SC app, so the Club can manage membership and deliver coaching.

Safety & medical information
I consent to the Club holding any emergency contact and medical information I choose to provide, and to coaches accessing it where needed for my child's safety during Club activities.
Optional
Documents
I understand I may upload documents (such as a birth certificate or identity document) to verify membership, and that I do so voluntarily. These are stored securely and used only for Club administration.
Optional
Photos & coaching video
I consent to the Club taking and storing a profile photo and coaching/technique video of my child within the app, for coaching and performance review only. This does not include public or social-media use.
Optional — separate
Promotional use
Separately, I may agree to the Club using my child's photo in Club promotional material (e.g. social media or website). This is optional, is not required for membership, and can be refused or withdrawn at any time by contacting the Club.
Your control
- You can withdraw any consent at any time by emailing privacy@vortexswimmingclub.com.
- Withdrawing optional consents (photos, promotional use) will not affect your child's membership.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your child's data — see the Privacy Policy.
By creating a family account and registering your child in the Vortex SC app, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you agree to the Required items above.
